Viking Shield Resin Key-Ring

This Viking Shield is made from resin that is hand painted and is based on a shield used to protect a Viking warrior. It is supplied on a quality key-chain. The Viking shield keyring is presented on a Viking keyring header card.

Shields were used by the Viking warriors of the Scandinavian cultures for protection in battle. They were typically made of wood and covered with leather and had a metal boss (a round protrusion) in the centre, which could be used to deflect blows from weapons. Viking shields were often decorated with designs, such as geometric patterns or the colours of the warrior's clan or family. In combat, Viking shields were used to protect the warrior's body from attacks by swords, axes, and other weapons. They were also used to block incoming projectiles, such as arrows.
