Express Post is available on request, subject to stock availability, destination and additional postage charges. Please contact the Shop at theshop@sea.museum before placing your order if you require Express Post.

Postage and handling charges are added at checkout.
Orders within Australia
For deliveries within Australia, standard postage of $12 applies to orders under 5kg.
Free standard shipping applies to Australian orders over $150.
Shipping for orders over 5kg will be calculated based on parcel weight and delivery location.
*Standard shipping rates apply to standard orders only. Large, bulky or fragile orders may incur a higher delivery fee. If this occurs, Store staff will contact you before dispatch. Any alternative delivery arrangements are at the customer's cost. For more information, please contact us.
We aim to process orders within 2 business days of receipt. Delivery timeframes vary by destination and carrier and are estimates only.
International Orders
International shipping charges are calculated based on destination and total order weight.
International orders are generally sent by Air Mail. Alternative delivery arrangements may be available at the customer's cost.

There may be local duty and/or taxes payable on goods delivered outside Australia. The Australian National Maritime Museum is not responsible for paying these charges.
If your order is urgent or needed by a particular date, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm availability and likely dispatch timing.
Customs clearance may add to international delivery timeframes and is outside the Museum's control.
Packaging
All orders are sent in plain packaging to ensure your parcel arrives securely and discreetly packaged. Large items are despatched in a plain, sturdy postage box. Smaller items are sent in plain, heavy-duty padded envelopes or satchels.
Returns, exchanges and refunds

If you receive an incorrect, damaged or faulty product, please contact us as soon as possible at theshop@sea.museum before returning the item and include your order number, proof of purchase and photographs to assess the issue. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, we will provide a repair or replacement. To assist with processing, please return the item in its original packaging where reasonably possible.
If your order is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please first contact the carrier or your local mail centre and then contact us. We will investigate the issue with the carrier and, where appropriate
