Artists Biography:

Priscilla Escobar was born in Darwin On the 9th February 1977. Priscilla has spent most of her life in Darwin. She was inspired to paint by watching and learning from family member's and commenced painting at the age of nineteen.

Priscilla's 'Dreaming' is the carpet snake, which she has inherited from her mother and country of Ikuntji in central Australia.

Priscilla exhibited seven works in 2004 at the Drill Hall Anzac House. All works were sold. She painted a Mural in the Darwin City Mall, a Mural in Whyalla in South Australia, which illustrate an ocean feature. Her latest Mural can be seen in Ceduna at the A1 Caravan Park.

Priscilla is an example of a young emerging artist who depicts ancient Dreaming's stories into a contemporary style, full of life and colour.
