A perfect portrait of an Ethiopian wolf – the world’s rarest species of canid – in Ethiopia’s Bale Mountains. Found only in the Ethiopian highlands, fewer than 500 remain. They live in packs – in extended family groups, usually – but they are solitary hunters, feeding exclusively on small rodents.
